I am currently a Poetry Therapy Practitioner in training with iaPoetry. As an educator, I have long recognised the power of words and the transformative learning that poetry therapy can offer. Through years of teaching in both further and higher education, I’ve honed my ability to connect with individuals on a deep, personal level. Now, drawn by what seems like a calling, I am embracing the path of a poetry therapy practitioner. In addition to my professional experiences, my newfound recognition of my own ADHD has deepened my understanding of the diverse ways in which individuals may process and engage with poetry therapy.
My facilitation of healing and self-discovery through poetry therapy is rooted in my core values of authenticity, growth, and connection, with the intention to support others in developing a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.
