EMMA GARRARD, PTP,
SOUTH YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, UK
After graduating with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, I embarked on therapy training, and have been working as an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist since 2007. As a Biblio/Poetry Therapist, I create workshops designed for therapeutic benefit, combining my love of literature, philosophy and psychology.
In addition to offering one to one sessions, I facilitate monthly therapeutic creative writing groups and bi-monthly existential reading groups, both in person in Sheffield and online. More details can be found on my website: www.wordsforwellness.co.uk
I love the depth of connection that can be found in Biblio/Poetry Therapy work (connection with others and with self) and find it to be such an immense privilege to be the one providing the space in which this magic happens!
