I enjoy facilitating developmental poetry therapy groups with various ages in a number of settings including Council on Aging/Senior Center facilities, nursing homes and in public school settings. My passion, however, is for intergenerational (IG) poetry groups. In such groups, I use poetry therapy practices and techniques to intentionally connect “bookend” generations: adults age 60 and older and young people under the age of 23. I have been conducting IG poetry groups for more than ten years in the greater Boston area.
