Call for submission of events

Share your poetry therapy workshops, peer groups with the iaPOETRY Community

Are you leading a poetry therapy workshop, conference session, or a community program ? We invite poetry therapy practitioners and trainees to submit events for inclusion in our newsletter and community calendar.

Who should submit

• Credentialed Poetry Therapy Practitioners (PTP) and trainees

• Mentors and supervisors

• Community organizations

Guidelines for submissions

• Relevance: Event content should clearly relate to poetry therapy, expressive literature, or therapeutic creative writing.

• Accessibility: Note whether your event is in-person, online, hybrid, and include timezone information for online events.

• Professional conduct: Events should adhere to iaPOETRY ethical practice and respect participant safety and confidentiality.

• Timing: Submit at least three weeks before the desired newsletter publication date to allow review and scheduling.

How submissions are selected

• Submissions are reviewed for relevance, clarity and adherence to our guidelines.

• Inclusion in the newsletter is discretionary and may be edited for length and clarity.

• We cannot guarantee placement or timing; earlier submission increases the chance of inclusion.
